Qualifications

Job Summary
Responsible for the communication of compliance programs for Synchrony Rehab - Senior Living, including written materials and training programs designed specifically to promote understanding of compliance issues, laws, and regulations.

 

Roles and Responsibilities
• Leads the innovation of Synchrony Rehab Senior Living Division through identification of innovation needs in the field, industry, and of the patients we serve.
• Completes site visits at assigned campuses to support identified educational needs, providing educational feedback and reports findings to Synchrony Rehab - SL DORs/PDs and Operations Support Team.
• Collaborates with operations to identify quarterly goals and align education and training modules to achieve those goals through formal feedback and results.
• Utilizes seminars, training programs, peer contact, and various industry information sources (i.e., Health Care Associations, CMS, Medicare Contractors, Internet sites, newsletters, etc.).
• Identifies, creates, and supports education opportunities for documentation and billing strategies to ensure defensibility and coding per industry standards.
• Maintains a consistent reporting process to VP of Clinical Services that provides the system with timely and relevant information on all aspects of denials and clinical support.
• Collaborates with Employee Services to develop, implement, and maintain the therapist mentorship program which includes but is not limited to new graduates and therapists new to the service line.
• Attends in-service and other training classes and meetings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 3-5 years

 

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
